Getting Started

How do I get started?

Join the waitlist to get early access. Once available, you'll install the Word add-in, open Microsoft Word, go to Insert > Get Add-ins, and search for "inchambers.ai" to activate.

What platforms are supported?

inchambers.ai is available as a Microsoft Word add-in for Windows and Mac. Download and install the add-in, then activate it from Insert > Get Add-ins in Microsoft Word.

How does the Free Trial work?

Start with a 30-day free trial of Starter plan (credit card required). Connect your own AI provider account and get unlimited requests to 11 advanced AI models. After the trial, continue at $300/year. Or try free for a week with 8 standard AI models (no credit card required). Cancel anytime before trial ends to avoid charges.

Do I need to install anything?

Yes. Once available, you'll download the installer for Mac or Windows, run it, then open Microsoft Word and go to Insert > Get Add-ins to activate the inchambers.ai add-in. Join the waitlist to be notified when downloads are ready.

Privacy & Security

How does InChambers keep my data private?

Your data goes directly to your AI provider — we never see your documents, prompts, or credentials. Your AI account details are securely encrypted and stored on your device.

Does my document content go to your servers?

No. With annual plans, your browser connects directly to AI providers — we never see your data. All document processing happens in your browser. We never see or store your document content.

How does inchambers.ai keep my data private?

Our privacy relay sends your requests directly to AI providers without storing, logging, or inspecting your data. Because we never retain your content, your legal documents remain private even when using built-in AI models.

Is inchambers.ai compliant with data protection regulations?

Our privacy-first architecture means we never store or process your document content on our servers, which simplifies compliance. For enterprise deployments, you can connect your own Microsoft Azure AI or Google Cloud AI instance for full organizational control. Please review our Privacy Policy for details.

Where are my templates stored?

Templates are stored locally on your device and optionally backed up to a dedicated app folder in your Google Drive or OneDrive. We use scoped access so the app can only see files it created, never your personal documents. Backups are securely encrypted before upload, and the encryption key stays on your device.

What AI account do I need?

Annual plans work with supported AI provider accounts, including multi-provider gateways, Microsoft Azure AI, or Google Cloud AI. Most users start with a multi-provider gateway since it gives access to Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and more with a single account. You pay AI providers directly for usage. What AI models can I use?

Annual plans include 11 pre-selected advanced AI models from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, xAI, DeepSeek, and more. We pre-select the model list for quality and legal work suitability. Professional and Enterprise tiers also support Microsoft Azure AI and Google Cloud AI for enterprise compliance.

What's the difference between Annual and All-Inclusive plans?

Annual plans (Starter $300/year, Professional $500/seat/year, Enterprise custom) require your own AI account(s). You pay us for the interface and pay AI providers directly for usage, with no markup. Unlimited requests with no credit limits. Your data goes directly to your AI provider. Best for cost-conscious users who want complete control.

All-Inclusive plans (IC Starter $100/month, IC Professional $400/seat/month, IC Enterprise $700/seat/month) include AI usage in the price. No AI account(s) needed. Data relayed through our direct private connection. Best for users who want instant access without managing a separate AI account.

What is a multi-provider AI gateway?

A multi-provider AI gateway gives you access to models from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, xAI, and more through a single account with unified billing. Instead of managing separate accounts with each provider, you get one account that works with all supported models. For annual plan users, we recommend a multi-provider gateway as the easiest way to access all premium models. Your data goes directly to the AI provider — we never see it.

What are Microsoft Azure AI and Google Cloud AI?

These are enterprise AI platforms from Microsoft and Google that let organizations deploy AI models within their own cloud accounts. For enterprises with existing Azure or Google Cloud contracts, this means: centralized billing through your cloud agreement, compliance with your organization's security policies, audit trails and governance controls, and data stays within your cloud environment. What are All-Inclusive plans?

All-Inclusive plans (IC Starter, IC Professional, IC Enterprise) include AI usage in the price. No separate AI accounts needed. You get access to 11 premium models from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and xAI. Your data is relayed through our direct private connection. When your monthly allowance runs out, you still have unlimited access to standard AI models.

Can I switch between providers?

Yes. You can switch AI providers and models at any time from Settings. Mix and match affordable models for routine tasks and premium models for complex legal analysis. There is no lock-in to any single provider.

What plans are available?

We offer a 7-day Free Trial (no credit card, 8 standard AI models), Annual plans (Starter $300/year, Professional $500/seat/year, Enterprise custom), and All-Inclusive plans (IC Starter $100/month, IC Professional $400/seat/month, IC Enterprise $700/seat/month). Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Settings panel in the add-in, or by emailing support@inchambers.ai. Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period.

Are there any hidden fees?

No hidden fees. The Starter plan is $300/year and includes unlimited requests with your own AI account. AI Credits plans have a fixed monthly price with included credit allowances. If you use an Annual plan, you pay AI providers directly at their standard rates with no markup from us.

What happens when my All-Inclusive credits run out?

All-Inclusive plan users who exhaust their monthly allowance still have unlimited access to fallback models at no extra cost. Credits reset at the start of each billing cycle. Annual plans have unlimited usage with no credit limits.

Is there a lifetime deal?

What can I do with inchambers.ai?

inchambers.ai helps legal professionals with document review, risk analysis, redline analysis, comments analysis, contract drafting, clause libraries, template management, interactive AI chat, issue reconciliation, document formatting, and more. It supports 1300+ document types.

What is the Template Library?

The Template Library lets you save and reuse document templates, clauses, and analysis prompts. Templates are matched against incoming work to save 60-80% on AI costs. Templates are stored locally on your device with optional encrypted cloud backup.

What file formats are supported?

inchambers.ai supports DOCX, DOC, PDF, and plain text files. The Word add-in works directly within your Word documents.

Can I use inchambers.ai for any type of legal document?

Yes. inchambers.ai is designed to work with all types of legal documents including contracts, agreements, court filings, briefs, memoranda, corporate documents, real estate documents, employment agreements, and more. The AI adapts its analysis based on the document type and jurisdiction.

Can multiple people use one account?

Starter plans (IC Starter and Starter plan) are single-user licenses. For teams, Professional plans support multiple seats (up to 10 per subscription). Enterprise plans offer unlimited seats with centralized management. Contact us for team pricing.

How do I update my billing information?

You can update your billing information, payment method, and subscription details from the Settings panel in the add-in. You can also manage your subscription by contacting support@inchambers.ai.
